Camping

 Hi friends!

Sorry, I have been absent. We are camping (in our kids front yard) in Missouri. We cannot go many place due to our pups. We don't know anyone in Tennessee to sit for us like we did in California. So, we take them with us in our camper. We hadn't seen the Missouri kids since last October for Staci's wedding; we  decided to pack up the pups and head to Missouri. 

We had done this from California during 2020, when everything was closed down in CA. We left and drove to Missouri and camped in their yard then. We had a month long trip and had so much fun with the grands and great grand. Now 3 years later, we have another great grand! Having just as much fun just doing everyday things with them; coloring, drawing, sharing a meal, timing them when they are swimming, watching them hula hoop, and more....

The pups have a decent size area to hang out (no fenced yard) and love their pup tent!

I hope to be back to doing Facebook lives later this week, if I can ever get my husband to leave here!!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities: Fun in the Sun

This month's kit made 9 fun fold, beach themed cards, 3 each of 3 designs. Here are the cards as designed:

I normally try to focus on the stamp set, so I can show my friends and family what to do with it once the kit parts are used up. This month didn't have many images, making it a little rough. 

I did use one of the kit die cuts, and embellishments. I also used pieces of the Bright & Beautiful 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper.

Inspire Create Share Blog Hop - New & Returning Core Colors

 

Hi friends! Thanks for joining me on another Inspire Create Share Blog Hop. Every year we get new In Colors, and we focus on them and make some great project using them. But this year we also had a Color Refresh. Meaning, we have some new core colors to celebrate! Some of the new colors are returning prior In Colors, and some are new colors altogether! While it is sad saying goodbye to those colors we have had for awhile and will miss, a color refresh is definitely an exciting time at Stampin' Up! 

I chose two returning colors to focus on, and to also show how well they coordinate with existing core colors. Blue Lagoon and Pretty Peacock are so pretty together, but look how the Calypso Coral pops along side of them! 

I cannot resist these cute little birds and their glasses from Bird's Eye View:

I didn't color him in, as there was so much color going on around him, that I thought he would be ok left white. 

And of course, you need to stamp the inside!

IDEAS Blog Hop: Holidays - Taco Fiesta

 

Hi friends!! Thanks for joining the IDEAS team as we hop along and see some holiday project. Yup, that is the theme for July, "Holidays". What do you think of when you hear that, Christmas, Easter, or ?? Well, some people call vacations holidays, so the word encompasses a lot! I try to focus on the stamp set, and how it can be used with other Stampin' Up! products, once the kits components are used up. Here is my alternate card:

From the kit, along with the stamp set, I did use one of the card fronts and cut 1/2" strips from it, and one of the white vases, which I stamped on.  I added a Night of Navy card base, and some Basic White cardstock , to complete the card. 

I, also, used the add-on dies to cut the flowers out for the card front. This is the 2nd time Stampin' Up! has offered dies as an add on! It has been a hit both times!

Sweet Citrus

Hi friends! 

I hope all is well with you. I wanted to share a card made on my Thursday Facebook Live called, This or That Stampin'. This stamping time is decided by the viewers. You choose which stamp set I will create with. 

On Wednesday, I post 2 stamp sets. You get to pick which one I will use in my Thursday live. Just go vote, then come back and watch...easy for you! Sometimes easy for me, sometimes not, haha!

Last week the choices were: 

Sweet Citrus won!

The Sweet Citrus Stamp Set, not only has coordinating dies, it also has an embossing folder and it is a hybrid folder where you can insert the dies and cut out the image, while you are embossing it! Super cool, right?! 

Here is what I made using all the elements of this bundle:

Love the Wink of Stella sparkle on the inside fruit. I makes the fruit look juicy.
