Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop: Hugs from Shelli

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. Each month we will show you other "Possibilites" to do with the Paper Pumpkin monthly kits.

We love sharing our enthusiasm for this monthly box of fun and creativity with you. The Paper Pumpkin kit is designed so you can follow the instructions provided in the kit to make the projects, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild (as we have!) Hop along with us, and we will share alternate ideas on how we used the very special May Paper Pumpkin Kit: Hugs from Shelli.

Here are the projects as designed:

The cards in this kit were beautiful as designed, and I was happy making them that way. I actually had a hard time at first trying to decide what to do for my alternate. But eventually the creative juices started flowing and this is what I came up with.

I used the kit pieces to make an easel card. I added the Vanilla cardbase, some Peacock and Blushing card stock for the circles, and used the Pool Party Stampin' Blends to color my bird. The rest of the supplies came from the kit.

Here is the flat card front:

I cut the front off one of the cards for the bottom half of the front, and then cut it down to size I needed. I used the remaining strip for inside the card under the sentiment. The Vanilla cardstock for the bird and the sentiment came from the back of the cut up card. I used the new Timeless Label Punch for the sentiment.

If you like my project, please leave me a comment. We could all use a little love now and again! Once you have commented, click on the pumpkin below and hop on over to June's blog to see what fun alternate project awaits you!

Oh wait...don't go away just yet, read below for information on June's kit.

Everything is Rosy Gable Box!

I love the Everything is Rosy Product Medley! I had so much fun creating with the set. I will post the cards at a later time. Today I want to show you the cute little box that I decorated for the class attendees. I mixed the Rose Gold Shimmer Paint with alcohol and spritzed a white gable box with the mixture. It sure turned out pretty!

I added some of the beautiful Rose Gold and Melon Mambo Designer Series Paper for a pop of darker color. I used a dauber and inked directly onto the largest flower stamp. I stamped it on Whisper White cardstock and then cut it out with the coordinating die cut. I layered some leaves cut out of the Rose Gold foil paper on top of one of the Rose Gold outlined die cuts, added the flower and a small greeting from the Itty Bitty Greeting Stamp Set. I added some of the Mambo ribbon, and added some of our Copper Ribbon (closest I could come to Rose Gold)...and done!!

Hope you like it!!

If you don't have some of these Gable boxes on hand...get 'em before they are gone. They didn't make it to the new catalog. They are so great to have on hand for small gifts or goodies! And you can decorate them in any color or style you would like!

Also, the Everything is Rosy Product Medley is only available until 5/31, or while supplies last. Get it too!!

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!

Throwback Thursday!

Here is a card saved to my computer back in 2015. I think the set was Cheerful Critter, but don't quote me on that. I love going back and looking at older cards.  I, also, like to see if I can recreate them with current products...so, I will have to try to do that with this one.

Keep watching to see if you can spot the remake in the next few weeks!

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!

Hugs from Shelli

This is one (of 4!) designs of the cards that will come in the May Paper Pumpkin kit.

This kit is special for several reasons:
1. Shelli Gardner, Stampin' Up! founder helped create this kit.
2. It has a beautiful, unique, collectible box!
3. It is going global! All markets across the world will be able to get it!
4. It will coordinate with the Bird Ballad Suite that is being released on June 4th in the new 2019-2020 Stampin' Up Catalog!

Aside from all those reason..it is simply beautiful!!

Subscribe by Friday, May 10th to get your kit!

IDEAS Blog Hop: Petal Palette

Welcome to the IDEAS Blog Hop, a group of international demonstrators who create a monthly bundle of tutorials for our customers and team members. The May theme is Wellness and Healing. I chose the well loved stamp set Petal Palette for my projects. This is a set that I am saddened to see go, and was actually very surprised it is retiring so soon. I also used some sentiments from the Humming Along and A Good Day Stamp Sets.

Since Wellness and Healing was the theme, I focused on friendship and made this sweet a card and a mini tissue holder:

Want to know how to make these? Then, I have a tutorial bundle for you!

This bundle features multiple tutorials from 12 demonstrators. Most tutorials features at least one card and one project, some include multiples. Would you like a copy of the instructions of all the projects you will see in the hop, to use for your personal use, or even to use in your classes? Contact me, or your participating demonstrator, to find out how to purchase the tutorial bundle or even better, get it for FREE!

Once you have received the tutorials, please remember not to share or distribute the printed or electronic copies of these bundles. We have worked hard to provide these exclusive projects for your use. If you know someone that would like to purchase the bundle, please direct them to me, or their participating demonstrator, to obtain their copy. Thanks for your support.

Leave me a comment before you hop on over to Judy's blog to see a preview of her Wellness and Healing projects !

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate any kind words you may choose to share.
Until next time...Happy Craftin'!

ICS Blog Hop: Baby Bear

Welcome to the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop! Our May theme is: Dads, Grads, Brides and Babies. I decided on making a baby card using the soon to be retired stamp set, Baby Bear. I love the process of this 3 step stamp set that makes the bear look so lifelike. It is a set that I will definitely be sorry to see it go.

I used a lot of retiring product on this card, like the Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper. I stamped the bear directly on to the Sea Foam Green piece, and added some flags using some of the different designs. When I was pulling retiring items from my shelves, I discovered that I really like this paper. Why haven't I used more of it all year?! Now it will be gone at the first of June. On a mission to use as much as I can!

Additional retiring items used, are a heart from the  Corrugated Elements and one of the Mint Macaron Faceted Dots, along with the 2017-2019 In Color, Tranquil Tide.

I think he turned out pretty cute! Now just waiting for a baby boy to come along so I can send Baby Bear to him!

Hope you enjoyed my card!

But, don't leave just yet, click on the next button, and hop on over to Cynthia's blog and see what she has to share with you! Feel free to leave comments along the hop, when you see something you like. We all can use a little love and kindess in our day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
