Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop: A Little Smile

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. We love sharing our enthusiasm for this monthly box of fun and creativity with you. The Paper Pumpkin kit is designed so you can follow the instructions provided in the kit to make the projects, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild (as we have!) Hop along with us, as we will share alternate ideas on how we used the June Paper Pumpkin Kit: A Little Smile!

Here is the kit as designed:

These mini cards are adorable, and were designed so you could give Random Acts of Kindness wherever you go! But, I went bigger with my alternate project. At first I was going to do larger cards using the Notecards and Envelopes, but then thought how cute they would look as sampler. So I grabbed an 8x8 frame, and went to work! I could have used the cards as they were and just put them in the frame...they are that cute. But, I chose to combine the June kit with the High Tide and Sailing Home Stamp Sets, and made some different cards, using the the card fronts from the kit.

I love the ocean and the nautical feel of this kit. And, it coordinates so well with the two nautical stamp sets in the 2019 Stampin' Up! Catalog. Another great feature of Paper Pumpkin! Did you know that July's kit is going to coordinate with three different stamp sets from the Annual Catalog, but more on that later. Here is my sampler:

This is a picture of it framed as I did decorate the frame too! Unfortunately, I can never get the framed picture to not have a glare, but just so you can see how cute the completed project is, I took the picture anyway!

If you like my project, please leave me a comment. We could all use a little love now and again! Once you have commented, click on the pumpkin below and hop on over to the fabulous June's blog to see what fun alternate project she has to share with you!

Oh wait...don't go away just yet, read below for information on July's kit.

Inspiration everywhere!!

We can get inspiration from most anywhere. I see a lot of color combinations that I like on people's clothing. I will write them down, and then use them when creating. One Sunday, I liked the pattern of the dress one of my friends was wearing, and came home and created this card. I liked it so much, I used it for a swap last month. I used the new Floral Essence stamps, white embossing powder, and the Highland Heather Stampin' Blends to color right on top of the set embossing powder.
Love the way the flowers pop on the black cardstock. I had a couple of people ask if I blew the picture up and used it for the background, haha! Stampin' Up! products are the best!

ICS Blog Hop: Terracotta Tile 2019-2021 In Color

Welcome to the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop! Our June hop introduces the 2019-2021 In Colors. I received a pack of the Mosaic Mood Designer Series Paper (DSP) at the April OnStage, and decided to use the 2 pieces that were primarily Terracotta Tile to make a gift bag. This is a bag I saw made on a Ronda Wade's Facebook live quite awhile ago, and am finally getting around to making.

Since our DSP is 2 sided, the inside of the bag is pretty too!!

One of the other things I love about this bag, is that the card is made with the leftover DSP, so it matches exactly and doesn't detract from the bag. The card is a breeze to make, and hangs right on the front of the bag, and can easily be removed!

Hope you like the bag  and card as much as I do. It is a great way to use up all the DSP you have been hoarding!! And I used the final scrap of the DSP as the layer across the front of the card, and just added the bird and a sentiment. Two 12 x 12 pieces of DSP and no waste!!

Don't leave just yet, click on the next button, and hop on over to Anastasia's blog and see what new In Color she has chosen to share with you! Feel free to leave comments along the hop, when you see something you like. We all can use a little love and kindess in our day!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Until next time...Happy Craftin'!

IDEAS Blog Hop: Sailing Home

Welcome to the IDEAS Blog Hop. We are a group of international demonstrators who create a monthly bundle of tutorials for our customers and team members. The May theme is "New Favorites." I chose to use the Come Sail Away Suite. We actually got to play with it at the April OnStage event, and do a Make & Take with it to bring home. It reminds me of my home state of Maine, and my dad. My dad and I shared a love of lighthouses. I lost him just over 2 years ago, and lighthouses will always makes me think of him.

This suite has all things nautical and it coordinates extremely well with High Tide. The lighthouse from High Tide can even be cut out with the die from Smooth Sailing dies...bonus!!!!

This bundle features multiple tutorials from 10 demonstrators. Most tutorials features at least one card and one project, some include multiples. Would you like a copy of the instructions of all the projects you will see in the hop, to use for your personal use, or even to use in your classes? Contact me, or your participating demonstrator, to find out how to purchase the tutorial bundle or even better, get it for FREE!

Once you have received the tutorials, please remember not to share or distribute the printed or electronic copies of these bundles. We have worked hard to provide these exclusive projects for your use. If you know someone that would like to purchase the bundle, please direct them to me, or their participating demonstrator, to obtain their copy. Thanks for your support.

Leave me a comment before you hop on over to the lovely MaryKate's blog to see what her new favorite is and what creations she has chosen to share with you.

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time...Happy Craftin'!
