Stamping with Friends Blog Hop: Begonia Belle

 

Hi stamping friends!! This is my first time joining the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop Group and I am excited to share with you! We are showcasing the Products of the Month. I chose the Begonia Belle Stamp set. It is a beautiful 2-step stamp set and perfect for this card technique.

I love all the detail in these stamps. I especially love the leaf stamp.  

Your closed card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". You cut one piece of cardstock to 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" and a 2nd one to 2 1/4" x 3 1/2". Layer them on top of each other leaving equal spacing all around. You can adhere with a removable adhesive to ensure they don't slip. Then stamp your images. If you have tried stamping on layered cardstock, you know the part around the edges doesn't stamp well. The next step takes care of that. 

Lift the stamped images and back each piece with a coordinating cardstock. These should measure 3 3/8 " x 4 5/8" and 2 3/8" x 3 5/8". Stamp a sentiment and layer them to the card base. Add some embellishments, and you have an easy but oh sooo pretty card! 

I used Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry inks for the flowers. And Garden Green ink for the leaves; first layer stamped off, then full strength for the 2nd step. I used Daffodil Delight for the layering pieces. 

And don't forget the inside. The little buds are a perfect addition. I did not add an inside sentiment yet because I am not sure who this card will go to. The outside sentiment is so generic, this could be used as a birthday, or wedding or even a thinking of you!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities: Hooray for Birthdays

 

Hello friends!! 

This month's kit is fun & useful. Fun folds & birthdays make for a great creative combo, and this kit has both!

We have easel cards and birthday sentiments for all. Here are the cards as designed:

The pictures aren't the best due to the lighting and the way they sit, but you get the idea! 

The Paper Pumpkin Possibilities team loves to show you alternative projects that your monthly kit can be made into, sometimes using only kit contents, sometimes using a combination of the kit and other Stampin' Up! products. 

I like to showcase the products that will be leftover (stamps & ink) once all the consumables are used. So here is my card doing just that:

I did pull the colors from the kit and used the stamps that came in it. These are such sweet little flowers. I added some Designer Series Paper, cardstock, twine and rhinestones to finish it off. 

Hope you enjoy the hop and are inspired to complete your kit as designed or maybe venture off and make your own creation! Either is acceptable.

7/24/26 This or That Stampin'

 Hi friends!!

Each week I do a This or That Stampin' challenge. It could be 2 stamp sets, or 2 different Designer Series Papers, or Color Combos or my personal favorite, a sketch challenge! A good sketch will inspire me like nothing else! 

This week we had a sketch challenge:

The piece in the upper right corner was a bit of a challenge. I have no punches that are similar to that shape. Sweet Words & Label Dies (167627) to the rescue! What would you have used?

IDEAS Blog Hop - Woodland Wishes

 

Hi friends! Thanks for joining me on another IDEAS Blog Hop! This month we are exploring Holidays. Sometimes we get a real variety of subjects with this one, but it appears most people went with Christmas this time. Get ready for some fun ideas to follow!!

Several of us used the new Woodland Wishes, released just today to customers. So, you are going to get some great ideas using this stamp set. 

I wanted to stick with the same Designer Series Paper (DSP) that I used in my bundle projects. I took my color inspiration from the DSP pack. It isn't in any of your traditional holiday colors, but I think this turned out so cute! I don't have any holiday DSP, so used what I had, and am pleased with how it looks! Do you stick to only the reds & greens, or blues & silvers for the holidays, or do you like the non-traditional colors too?

I am not a real fan of coloring but still love line art stamps. I am always trying to come up with ways to use them that doesn't require a lot of coloring on my part. Here is a good way to use the large stamp in this set, make it a background stamp!!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop: Bikes & Blooms

 

Hello friends!! Welcome to another Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop where you can find alternative projects using your monthly Paper Pumpkin kits!

Very fun cards! 

I prefer to make my alternate cards using the stamps & ink, so you can see what can be done with the leftovers, after the consumables are gone. 

I did use half of one of the card fronts, and there were some extra banners in the kit, so I used one of those too. But these are things I could easily have done using cardstock or a similar Designer Series Paper. I did add some additional ink colors too.

Here is my card using the cute little bicycle: 

I like the randomness of the bicycles and the different colors. These colors I pulled from the kit itself. Stampin' Up does such a great job of color coordination, why not use it?!

Inspire Create Share Blog Hop: Fabulous Folders

 

Hi friends!! I love Stampin' Up! embossing folders and am so happy I was able to participate in this blog hop. Thank you for joining us! I hope you are inspired to use our folders, and maybe even learn a new technique with them. 

 I ran a piece of Basic White cardstock through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine using the Ladybug Picnic 3D Embossing Folder (item #167478). I turned it to the debossed side and using a sponge dauber, added some Real Red ink to the ladybug images. 

I then inked up the brayer (item $162936) using the Secret Sea ink pad and rolled it over the debossed piece of cardstock. 

I went back over the ladybugs again and added some Daffodil Delight ink to the smaller flowers also using a dauber. 

Lastly, I added some color to the flower centers using the Timid Tiger and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends. 

A couple of layers of matching cardstock, a fun sentiment, the cutest ladybug embellishments, and here is the completed card:

IDEAS Blog Hop: Colo(u)r Me Happy

 

Hello friends! Welcome to the IDEAS Blog Hop! This month is all about the fabulous Stampin' Up! colors!! We have 40 core colors and each year we get 5 new colors that last for 2 years. While it is sad we have to say goodbye to old favorites, it is always nice to see the new colors Stampin' Up! puts out and are always on trend!

While some used one or more of the new 2026-2028 In Colors, others focused on colors from a specific Designer Series Paper pack. Either way, you cannot go wrong with the beautiful colors available to us to create with!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities: Sparkling Celebrations

 

Hi friends!! Are you ready for some alternative projects from the May Paper Pumpkin kit? This kit is pretty festive with the fireworks, lanterns and lights. The colors work so well together.

Here is my alternative. I took a right gate fun fold and turned it on its side to get a different look and to be able to accommodate the direction of the card base from the kit. 

I prefer to use the kits nonconsumable items, stamps & ink, on my alternative projects, so you can visualize what can be done with the leftovers, once the kit is gone. I did use one of the card fronts and some ephemera pieces from the kit on this one though.

IDEAS Blog Hop: Fast & Fabulous

 

Hello crafters!  I'm so excited to share our May IDEAS Blog Hop with you today. We are featuring projects that are Fast & Fabulous! Our tutorial is full of amazing creative ideas!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop: Lakeside Retreat

 

Hello fellow Paper Pumpkin subscribers, and if you are not, you should be!!

This month's kit is Lakeside Retreat, and is summery, and sorta', but not really, masculine and just an overall fun kit! I love the color palette and the nature vibes!

Here are the cards as designed: 

 I chose to make a treat holder from one of the card bases and some of the card front components. I did use some of the stamps, and the ink spot too. I am not sure what I will fill it with but for now, I added some kisses. 

I think I will add a gift card or two and give it to one of my friends who saved me recently.
