PPP Blog Hop: Beary Comforting

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop is happening again, and we are so glad you have decided to join us! We love Paper Pumpkin and love to share our enthusiasm for this monthly box of fun and creativity with you. The Paper Pumpkin kit is designed so you can follow the instructions provided in the kit to make the projects, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild (as we have!) Hop along with us, as we will share alternate ideas on how we used the December Paper Pumpkin Kit: Beary Comforting

December's kit made 12 cards, 4 each of 3 designs. Here they are as designed:

Well, the middle one wasn't supposed to have Merry Christmas, but my little sis loves Koala bears, and since I have not yet sent off her Christmas present, I thought she would love this one!

I just got my kit yesterday...isn't the mail time crazy right now?! Since I had extra time, I thought about all the things that we need when we aren't feeling well, and need some comfort. I decided to make a little tissue holder. The only tissues I had were top loading ones, so designed one that would accommodate that opening.

Not that I am looking for a sick person, or wishing sickness on anyone, but I would love to find someone to pass this along to....

I hope you like my alternate project. Hop or skip along to Darla's blog to see what fantastic alternative project she has to share with us! I would love you to leave a comment if you like what you see.

Don't miss next month's Paper Pumpkin. It is Valentine themed, and is called Sending Hearts. I think there are going to be a lot of people needing some love in February!

This kit has the materials for 8 cards and coordinating envelopes. But wait, there is more!! There is an add on kit called Little Love Boxes. It offers 20 tiny, printed boxes and 24 die-cut, heart-shelled snails and sentiment labels.

If you dont' have a demonstrator, I would love to have you order from me. Order your kit here! Order your add-on here! Item #156842, and it is only $8 USD.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!

I'm so excited you are here and ready to hop with us today! Our tutorial theme this month is Getting Ready for a New Year! The theme is waaay broader than just New Years, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the designers interpretations, and wow'd at the projects!! The December bundle features 15 Stampin Up! Designers from all over the world, almost 100 pages and over 20 amazing project ideas!!

The following graphic is a sneak peek at the some of the projects in our December IDEAS Tutorial Bundle:

I chose to pull something I had not used in a while and pulled out the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set. I love the soft looking cherry blossoms and the sentiments in this one, and have neglected it for awhile.

So, while my actual tutorial designs are secret and exclusively shared in the bundle, I have another project made using the same items used on my tutorial projects to show you. Consider it a bonus project!

How about this cute little treat bag?! It is made with a 4" x 6" piece of Designer Series Paper, so you can get 6 of them from one 12" x 12" sheet. What a great use of our lovely DSP!

And since it is the season of giving, what about a 2nd bonus project? Here is the cute little bag with a Christmas theme! I love those gnomes!

Each tutorial designer features at least one card and one 3D project, some include multiple projects. ICS Blog Hop: Freezin' Fun

I am so glad you could join is on the November Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop! We are happy to be sharing some fun projects with you. Hopefully, we can inspire you and get you in your craft rooms to stamp something new!

November's theme is Christmas is Coming! I chose to use Freezin' Fun for an exciting technique we learned this past weekend at OnStage@Home! OnStage@Home is the format Stampin' Up! used to bring us together for what we normally did in person each November. It was an exciting time, we saw new product and even had a chance to order some of it! They had $1,000,000 demonstrators presentations creating with the new stamp sets they each helped create! We also got some training in and got to hear from the company leadership on various topics, as well as, a Stamp Along time! It was a fun event and I am so thankful Stampin' Up! chose to use this platform, rather than cancel the event all together!

Anyway, back to the technique, and my card. I had not really used this set yet, and this forced me to start working with it. I will be using it some more for sure! It has so many cute little guys in it! Just look at them, and they have matching dies!!

Here is my creation using a new (to me) shaker card technique. Can you see that the entire card front is the shaker?!

Here is a closer look:

I used a paper from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP). The DSP is supposed to represent stucco, or wall texture, or something. But, I thought it made a perfect snow scene background with all the swirls in the white paste! I stamped trees directly onto the DSP. Once colored, I placed the background piece into a clear envelope, added some snowflake sequins and tiny blue dots, and sealed it. I used Tear & Tape to secure it, before adding it to my card front. To finish it off, I added my cute little snow creatures!

Don't forget the inside, and your envelope!

I hope you love this card and technique as much as I do! I will be using both again!

The very talented Terri is up next, leave me a comment, and then join me as I check out what masterpiece she has for us!! Don't forget to keep hopping to see all the fabulous projects!

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!

IDEAS Blog Hop: Festive Corners

It's a great day to craft!! And the IDEAS team has some fun projects to share with to get you inspired! Our theme for November is Family Celebrations. This is a broad theme and could include; birthday,
holiday's like Christmas or New Year, or new baby, or ??

This month's tutorial contains over 25 amazing ideas created by 11 Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the world! We can help you get your craft on!!
Here is a sneak peek at the some of the projects in our November IDEAS Tutorial Bundle.

I chose to use the Festive Corners stamp set. It includes images for several holidays, and I love that some of the sentiments go around a corner, and some go up and down. Just makes it fun to be able to change things up!

While my actual tutorial designs are secret and exclusively shared in the bundle, I have another card made using this stamp set to show you. Consider it a bonus project!

Hint: I used the Christmas sentiments in my bundle projects, but really think it could be used for birthday, Christmas, New Years, or just to let someone know how special they are!

Each tutorial designer features at least one card and one 3D project, some include multiple projects. Would you like a copy of the tutorials for these projects for your personal use, or even to use in your classes? Contact your participating demonstrator, or me if you don't have one. I offer three options to acquire these wonderful IDEAS tutorial bundles:

1. Place a $35 order with my online host code: NKBQWZNZ

PPP Blog Hop: Joy to the World

Welcome to the monthly Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. We love Paper Pumpkin and love to share our enthusiasm for this monthly box of fun and creativity with you. The Paper Pumpkin kit is designed so you can follow the instructions provided in the kit to make the projects, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild (as we have!) Hop along with us, as we will share alternate ideas on how we used the October Paper Pumpkin Kit: Joy to the World

This month's kit made 8 cards, 4 each of 2 designs. Here are the cards as designed:

If you follow me at all, you know I love to make boxes out of the Paper Pumpkin card bases. This month's worked perfectly! So I had to do it!!

Here is my alternate project, a cute little box! I used the included stamps for the flowers, as the diecut flowers were too large for the box. I colored them with our Stampin' Blends. I think they look great! I used other elements of the kit, like the "sweater" embossed paper, the beautiful gold "love" and the cherry cobbler twine.  I added the Sea Foam Green paper for the sentiment, and the cobbler colored jewels.

I lined the inside with some of the envelope, and Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

Glad you could join us, and hope you have been inspired to get your kit out and create.  Click on the pumpkin below and hop on over to Deb's blog to see what fun she has created to share with you!

It would be awesome if you leave a comment on our projects along the way!!

And see below for November’s kit…you won’t want to miss it!

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!
