ICS Blog Hop: Last Chance

Hi friends! It is time again for the Inspire Create Share monthly Blog Hop. December is all about Last Chances...well, the Stampin' Up! Last Chance list anyway!

The demos are using items from the September - December Mini Catalog that are on the Last Chance Products list. You will want to get these items while you can, as they are while supplies last. Some items have already been moved over to the Discontinued Products list.

My favorite stamp set from the Mini Catalog is the Christmas Friends. These critters are soooo cute. I love them all!

Here is a card using them:

If you search back on my blog, or on my Facebook page, you will see other examples using these cute critters!

Hop along with me to see what the others have used from the Mini Catalog, you never know what you might see that you need! Again, don't wait to get it if you see something you want. Products are selling out and being moved to the Discontinued list daily.

Here is the blog hop list:

Until next time...

IDEAS Blog Hop - We're Cut Out to be Friends

Hi friends!! Thanks for joining us on another adventure! We are using the theme; We're Cut Out to be Friends! This can focus on all the ways that Stampin' Up! has to cut things out, i.e., punches, dies, snips, or even the ephemera packs that you just punch the images out. It can also center around friendships! We like to keep things broad, so it can be interpreted lots of ways, and show varying projects!

This tutorial bundle has over 40 pages, and includes over 20 ideas, both cards and 3D projects from 11 global Stampin' Up! Demonstrators! Projects have color photos, a supply list, step by step instructions and both imperial and metric measurements. All experience levels are included in the bundle, it definitely has something for everyone!

Here is a collage showing some snippets of some of the completed projects in the tutorial bundle.

My bundle projects are exclusive to the bundle, so here is another cute and easy card using the "A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. It includes 3 pieces of 2-sided DSP and 3 sheets of ephemera. So fun and makes Christmas projects a snap!

Check out all the coordinating elements that went together so easy to make this cute card!

Hope you like this, and if you do...make sure to get the bundle so you can check out all the projects!

There are three options to acquire our IDEAS tutorial bundle:

1. Place a $35 order with my online host code, 6GCB2D4W, or click here.

2. It is free for all of my team members, join here.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities - Filled with Joy

Hello Paper Pumpkin fans!! Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

This month we had mini stockings to work with. They are adorable and will make great gifts for those you want to get a little something for without breaking the bank.

But as you know, I like to showcase the stamp set, rather than the consumables. I like to show that the kit still has value once all the paper products are used up.

Here is a festive card using the stamps. I pulled out the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper (DSP). The colors aren't traditional Christmas. I loved the Moody Mauve trees on the DSP, so I used Shaded Spruce and Petal Pink, along with it.

Now these are not colors I would have necessarily paired together, but rather, a color suggestion by Stampin' Up! I think it works!

And here is my card:

Don't forget the inside...

Hope you enjoy the hop, and it gives you a few minutes to unwind from all the busyness of the next couple of days!

Until next time...

11/05/24 Creative Crafternoon - Sketch #12

 Hi Crafty friends!!

This card was created during a recent Creative Crafternoon using the Christmas Friends Bundle. I love the critters in this bundle. They make cardmaking easy!!

I have been using the sketches from the Annual and Mini catalogs for these sessions. This was created based on sketch #12 from the Mini catalog.

Here is my take on it:

Love the greens in the Designer Series Paper with the pop of gold.

IDEAS Blog Hop: Spread the Sparkle

Hello crafters!  I'm so excited to share our November IDEAS Blog Hop with you today. We are Spreading the Sparkle by featuring projects that are sparkly. Our tutorial is full of amazing creative ideas for all levels of experience.

This graphic is a sneak peek at the some of the projects in our November IDEAS Tutorial Bundle.

Each tutorial designer features at least one project, some include multiples. There are 13 designers this month. Did you know so many of our designers are rated in the top 100 of the Stampin' Up! company. Come and check out theirs and all the designs!

My actual tutorial designs are secret and exclusively shared in the tutorial. Here is an alternate project for you. Consider this cute little Santa treat holder a bonus project. I wish you could see all the sparkle on him and all my projects, but the pictures just don't do them justice.

The treat holder measures 2 1/2" x 1", but the ones in the tutorial are much bigger.

This month's bundle includes over 50 pages of designs. It has over 15 projects, many with alternate designs using different papers or stamps sets. Are you intrigued and would like a copy of the tutorials to use for your personal use, or even to use in your classes? Contact your member demonstrator or me to get yours.  There are three options to acquire our IDEAS tutorial bundle:

1. Place a $35 order with my online host code, 3JZSM4D6, or click here.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities: Nests of Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends!

Welcome to the monthly Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. We love Paper Pumpkin and love to share our enthusiasm for this monthly box of fun and creativity with you. The Paper Pumpkin kit is designed so you can follow the instructions provided in the kit to make the projects or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild (as we have!) Hop along with us, as we will share alternate ideas on how we used the October Paper Pumpkin Kit: Nests of Christmas.

The kit gives enough supplies for 10 cards, 5 each of 2 designs. They are a cute fun fold design. But, I especially loved the stamp. I loved the cardinal, and the evergreen sprig and the spots, along with all the sentiments.  When I make my alternate projects, I try to use the stamps, so you can visualize using them after all the consumables are gone. The stamps are something that will be available for you to use over and over again.

So, here you go. I used all the image stamps and a sentiment.

I did use the punched-out piece from one of the fun fold cards in the kit. But it could easily be replaced with a piece of Designer Series Paper. I used some ribbon and embellishments from the Mini Catalog. I also used all 3 of the add on dies that are available for purchase, item #165639 (while supplies last).

The Merry was designed to coordinate with the October kit. But as you can see, they all worked on this card!

Hope you enjoyed my alternate project. Follow me as I hop along to see what the other demonstrators did with this fun kit, one of my all-time favorites!

Until next time...

10/22/24 Creative Crafternoon

Hi crafty friends!!

I kept with the sketch theme for Creative Crafternoon, but used a sketch from the Mini Catalog this time. I was inspired by sketch #6 from page 16 of the Mini Catalog. I combined 2 stamp sets, Humble Home and Frozen Edges for today's card.

Inside the card:

I used a color combination (bottom one) from the Stampin' Up! Color Coach. I love using colors different from what I would normally select. What do you think of this combination?

Here is the link to the video on how I made the card.

Don't forget to go to my FB page and vote on the This or That choices after 3pm Wednesday! Click here to go to my page.

Hope you enjoyed this card!

Until next time...

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop: Autumn Abundance

Hello Paper Pumpkin enthusiasts!! We are here with another hop of alternative ideas on how to use your September kit. I love Paper Pumpkin as designed, but it is fun to see what else can be done with the kits.

Here is the September kit info:

Share your love for all things autumn with this kit!

Cards as they were designed:

• Makes 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs
• Project includes printed cards and coordinating envelopes
• Laser cut card fronts, ephemera pack, and embellishments
• Coordinating colors: Cajun Craze (Classic Stampin’ Spot), Crushed Curry, Poppy
Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Wild Wheat

I usually choose to mainly use the stamps on my alternates, since the consumables will be used up and you will have only the stamps and ink left.

Here is my card. I love the little snail!

I used various color inks and did use a circle cut from the Stylish Shapes dies, along with the leaf die from Every Celebrations Paper Pumpkin add-on dies. I added some linen thread and some of the beautiful gold dragonflies to finish is off.

Hope you like it! Are you ready to see what the others did with their kit? Follow the list below and hop along with me!

Until next time...

ICS Blog Hop: Fall Fun

Welcome to the September ICS Blog Hop. Thanks for joining us as we celebrate Fall with our Fall Fun theme this month.

I have been using the Online Exclusives, Changing Leaves bundle, for a lot of my projects and Facebook lives recently. I love this set with stamps and coordinating dies. It also pairs well with the Wild Wheat Rustic Striped Ribbon and the Woven Golden Leaves. Changing Leaves was the perfect choice to use for Fall Fun!

Here is my card:

I have been using the Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper with this bundle but this time I wanted to change the leaves up to reflect the leaf color changes that happens during the fall season.

I used watercolor paper and spritzed it with water. Then I dropped reinker dots all over it in fall colors, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive. I spritzed the drops some more until the bled together to form this:

The Blackberry didn't spread as well as the other colors, so I was just selective on my placement when I stamped the leaves onto the paper.

I didn't end up using them all, but now I have some extras for another project or two!

I hope you will join me as I hop along to see what the other demonstrators have done to showcase Fall Fun!! Please, leave a comment when you see something you like. Click on the list below to hop along....
