This was the result of my weekly This or That Stampin' Facebook live from last week. Happy Holly-Days won the battle. I love the paper piercing technique and this cute little bird is perfect for it! 

Paper used is the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper. Isn't he festive?!

PPP Blog Hop: Haunts and Harvest

 

Hello Stampers!! Thanks for joining us on tonight's Blog Hop featuring the September Paper Pumpkin kit: Haunts & Harvest. We all love Paper Pumpkin, and love to show you the possibilities that each kit contains, whether you make it just like it shows in the kit directions, or if you change it up to your liking!

This month's kit feature 12 treat boxes that could be made into Halloween Jack-o-lanterns or into Harvest pumpkins, or a mixture of each. The really unique thing about this kit, is the box itself can be made into a wheelbarrow to hold your pumpkins or Jack-o-lanterns and the cutting instructions are already on the box for you!! What a cool idea! 

Here is what that looks like:

I haven't decided what to do with my treat boxes just yet, so went with an alternate card. I used several of the stamps, cut up one of the treat boxes into strips, and even cut a strip from the box to use. Why not, since the rest is going to get cut up anyway?!

Here is my card:

I used the reverse side of the leaves and using a blending brush, I softly inked them up. I also used the negative part of the leaf as a template for inking the other leaves cascading down the side of the card. I also added some to the card inside. I love how they turned out, they look so soft.

Creative Crafternoon - September week 2

 Hi friends!! I am late, but here is last weeks Creative Crafternoon project. I am using the Peaceful Deer bundle and Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper.  I am also focusing on doing fun fold cards that use just a card base for the card, then of course decorating it. 

This fold, is a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of cardstock, with a 2 3/4" piece cut off the front and then turned to hold the focal point of the card. Click here if you want to watch the video.

ICS Blog Hop: Textures & Shapes

 

Welcome to the Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop. I am so happy you could join us! We are showcasing Sale A Bration again this month. There are still so many fun products to choose from, including Designer Series Paper (DSP), stamps & dies! From the fun Sheep to the beautiful black and white prints on the Beautifully Penned DSP, there is just so much creativity waiting to happen!

I chose the Textures and Frames stamp set. I love all the different shapes and images. I have seen so many cute cards, like birthday candles, and a caterpillar. People are so creative! 

I chose to pair Textures and Frames with Celebrate with Flowers and make a birthday card. I love the vertical sentiment in the flower set. And, while, the shapes can be used in so many ways, I like how the rectangle shape, in shades of pinks, highlight the flower. 

Add a couple of strips of pink DSP, a little bling, and...

Dutch Door Fold

 Hi friends! I started a new series on the Tuesday Creative Crafternoon's for September. Each week I will be using the Peaceful Deer Bundle and the FREE Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper (DSP). 

Each week will be a different fun fold, but the key is only using a standard card base. This week I used a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Sahara Sand card base, but cut the top 1/2 of the card front off and used it for the layer behind the deer. You can watch the video here. 

Love this stamp set and punch!

IDEAS Blog Hop: Evergreen Elegance
