Hello Paper Pumpkin enthusiasts!! We are here with another hop of alternative ideas on how to use your September kit. I love Paper Pumpkin as designed, but it is fun to see what else can be done with the kits.

I usually choose to mainly use the stamps on my alternates, since the consumables will be used up and you will have only the stamps and ink left. 

Here is my card. I love the little snail! 

I used various color inks and did use a circle cut from the Stylish Shapes dies, along with the leaf die from Every Celebrations Paper Pumpkin add-on dies. I added some linen thread and some of the beautiful gold dragonflies to finish is off.

ICS Blog Hop: Fall Fun

 Welcome to the September ICS Blog Hop. Thanks for joining us as we celebrate Fall with our Fall Fun theme this month. 

I have been using the Online Exclusives, Changing Leaves bundle, for a lot of my projects and Facebook lives recently. I love this set with stamps and coordinating dies. It also pairs well with the Wild Wheat Rustic Striped Ribbon and the Woven Golden Leaves. Changing Leaves was the perfect choice to use for Fall Fun!

Here is my card: 

I have been using the Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper with this bundle but this time I wanted to change the leaves up to reflect the leaf color changes that happens during the fall season. 

I used watercolor paper and spritzed it with water. Then I dropped reinker dots all over it in fall colors, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive. I spritzed the drops some more until the bled together to form this: 

The Blackberry didn't spread as well as the other colors, so I was just selective on my placement when I stamped the leaves onto the paper. 

I didn't end up using them all, but now I have some extras for another project or two!

IDEAS Blog Hop: Family Celebrations

 

Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the September IDEAS Blog Hop! We are celebrating Family Celebrations this month. This can be a multitude of things to different people. It can be birthdays, or specific holidays, or special occasions or events within your family or culture. It may even be just a backyard BBQ!

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to make an alternate project, so here is another sneak peek at one of my bundle projects. I used the Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. The pack comes with DSP and die cut designs. These packs make creating soooo easy!

Each tutorial designer features at least one card or one 3D project, some include multiple projects. Each tutorial includes color photos, a supply list, and written instructions with both imperial and metric measurements.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop: Time for Cake

Hello friends, and hopefully, fellow Paper Pumpkin subscribers. We are playing with the August kit, Time for Cake. As you can imagine, it is birthday themed! 

While I love most kits as planned by Stampin' Up! it is always fun to see what other things can be done with each kit. So, grab a cuppa' and let's see what everyone has come up with this month. 

I try to focus my cards on the stamps, cuz once the kit is all made up, that is what you have left!  I love the stamps that come with it! Great little images and the sentiments... Love the mixed font of "Make a Wish, "the little "celebrate" and the "lost count" stamps! And the cute little candles and balloons, make these stamps ones I will use again!

I did use part of a kit card front and the inside of an envelope for my card. Added some Wink of Stella and some rhinestones to complete it, cuz a little bling is always good!

Here is a close up of the candles, though you still cannot see the bling. I hope you are inspired to create your kit now, or possibly something new.

While, I normally go with a traditional US holiday, I went with a travel theme this time. I used the new Flying By Stamp Set. I love these little elements, the plane, the alien and especially those cute little paper airplanes! Cute images and cute sayings make up this set. Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop: Life is Sweet

 

Hi there!! Thanks for coming along on the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. We love Paper Pumpkin and how fast & easy it is to make the kits the way they were designed. But we also, love to show you different ways to use them!

I normally like to showcase the stamp sets in our kits. That way once all the kit components are used up, you still have inspiration on using the stamps. However, this month there were no images, only words. So, I did pull some of the extra peaches from the kit and used those. 

So, here is my card: 

Now, mind you, I am not complaining about the words. I love the sentiments in this kit. They are sweet words for friendships, and I like that they can be inside or outside words!

And, did you see the 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Paper?! I love the sparkle of this stuff, and that the glitter doesn't fall of!! This is a must have, the colors are gorgeous!

And if you didn't get the dies to go with the April 2024- June 2024 kits, do it quickly. I used 2 of them on this card. They will be gone soon, and Stampin' Up! will be moving on to the July - Sept add on! Thanks & Beyond Dies Item # 164397
