ICS Blog Hop: Sale A Bration Hippos

Hello & welcome! The Inspire Create & Share Bloggers are showing on our fun Sale A Bration items in today's hop. Sale A Bration ends on August 31st, and new items have been added to the offerings, so don't miss out!!

Today I am using the cute hippo's. These little guys are so fun. I am also showing a new fun fold; the Mini Card Topper Fun Fold. It has lots of places to put several of the cute hippos, if you cannot decide which one(s) to use!!

So, it looks kind of like a regular card on the surface:

But, then it starts to unfold (literally, lol!):

And more....

I love all the layers!

And finally, the inside...

Isn't this fun and a great way to show off some of our fabulous DSP!!

I am excited to hop on over to Elizabeths's page to see what Sale A Bration item she chose to highlight for us!! Won't you join me? Click below to hop alone!

Until next time...

Happy Craftin'!

Painted Pheasant

Are you ready for fall? I am! I love sweaters, pumpkin spice and the change in the air! With our recent move to Tennessee, we should see a real change in seasons, and I am excited about it.

This or That Stampin' choices this week were:

Painted Pheasant won. I got some good use out of the Stamparatus with the step stamping, and even on the pheasant, being able to stamp him more than once to mute some of the colors that I added.

Here is what I did with this cute pheasant:

Pheasants bring back memories of my grandmother. We called her Granga. She had a pheasant that would visit her and eat out of her hand. I never met it, but remember seeing the pictures. Isn't it funny what can trigger memories sometimes?

Until next time...
Happy Craftin'!

ICS Blog Hop: Stylish Sketches

Hello!! The Inspire Create Share team have some projects to share with you that feature our new Sale A Bration (SAB) products. I love that Stampin' Up! uses SAB to give back to its customers, and recently has been doing two SAB's per year!

I used two SAB products; the Stylish Sketches Stamp Set and the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper (DSP). This DSP is lovely, as is all of our DSP! And the fact that it is free makes it even better!! And I love the sketched images in the stamp set I chose. I cannot wait to play with some of the other images.

I used some colors that I don't normally use. This would be a great masculine or nature lover birthday card!

Hope you like my card! What is your favorite  new SAB product? Can you pick one, or is it like picking your favorite child?

Thanks for stopping by. Please, join me as I hop on over to Elizabeth's blog, to see what SAB item she chose to showcase! Then go through the whole hop and see if you can spot a project using your favorite!

I carried the DSP over to my bonus project, but used a carryover holiday set Peaceful Deer.

PPP Blog Hop: Pick of the Crop

Welcome to the monthly Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. We love Paper Pumpkin and love to share our enthusiasm for this monthly box of fun and creativity with you. The Paper Pumpkin kit is designed so you can follow the instructions provided in the kit to make the projects, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild (as we have!) Hop along with us, as we will share alternate ideas on how we used the June Paper Pumpkin Kit: Pick of the Crop.

Here is the kit:

And the fun stamp set that you can continue to use for other projects:

Here is my alternative:

I used the inside of the envelope for the background, used a couple of the stamps and the linen thread. Just added some cardstock and some gems. Super simple!!

Hop along with us and see what the other bloggers have done with the kit. There are sure to be several you will want to CASE. Next up is Sharon, let's check hers out together!  Just click on the Next button below to hop along.

Until next time...
