IDEAS Blog Hop: That's So "Suite" of You!

Hello crafters!  I'm so excited to share our February IDEAS Blog Hop with you today. The theme is "That's So Suite of You". We are featuring products from some of the Stampin' Up! suites, Annual and Mini Catalog Suites. What is a Suite", you ask? Well, as Suite is more than a bundle. It typically will have coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP), and embellishments and/or ribbon, in addition to the stamp and dies and/or punch.

This graphic is a sneak peek at the some of the projects in our February IDEAS Tutorial Bundle.

Our tutorial is full of amazing creative ideas! I am using the Butterfly Kisses Suite from the Annual Catalog. My actual tutorial designs are secret and exclusively shared in the tutorial.  But, here is a another project, not included in the bundle, using the products from the  same suite. Consider it a bonus project, my gift to you!

There are over 80 pages of fabulous projects from 15 global demonstrators. Each tutorial designer features at least two projects, some more. The projects include cards, home decor and treat/gift holders. The tutorial has color photos, imperial and metric measurements and step by step instruction to guide you.

Would you like a copy of the tutorials for these projects for your personal use, or even to use in your classes? Contact your member demonstrator or me.  I offer three options to acquire our IDEAS tutorial bundle:

1. Place a $35 order with my online host code. Order here

2. It is free for all of my team members, join here.

3. Purchase it for $15 USD.

Once you have received the tutorials, please remember not to share or distribute the printed or electronic copies of these bundles. We have worked hard to provide these exclusive projects for your use. If you know someone that would like to purchase the bundle, please direct them to me to obtain their copy. Thanks for your support!

ICS Blog Hop: Whale Done

Hello, and welcome to the August Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop! We are so glad you are hopping along with us.

This month, our theme is "Punch It Out". The projects you will see will all include some of the awesome Stampin' Up! punches. Hopefully, we can inspire you to get your punches out and do some creating!

I used the Whale Builder Punch, the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch, and our 2 1/4" Circle Punch on my card. I also used the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper from the recently released August-December Mini Catalog. I love the sparkle of the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper!! And I used the Fine Tip Glue to cover the whale to give him a glossy wet look.

Don't forget your card inside, and envelope:

Leave me a comment, and then follow the hop to see what the others have been inspired to share with you!! The talented Darla is up next, let's go see what she has for us!!

PPP Blog Hop: Lovely Day

Welcome to the monthly Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. We love Paper Pumpkin and love to share our enthusiasm for this monthly box of fun and creativity with you. The Paper Pumpkin kit is designed so you can follow the instructions provided in the kit to make the projects, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild (as we have!) Hop along with us, as we will share alternate ideas on how we used the February Paper Pumpkin Kit: Lovely Day.

This month's kit made 9 lovely cards, 3 each of 3 designs. Here are the cards as designed:

I knew you all thought I would make a box, since you know I love making boxes from the printed card bases, so...I didn't! Instead, I decided to make a fun fold card using some of the leftover pieces that would normally be thrown away. I used the inside "burst" pieces that came from the blue colored card. I used two of them, so I could put one on the inside, and one on the outside covering the inside one, making it a surprise when the card opens.

I used Stampin' Blends to color the cake frosting and candle, but did use the provided stamp to color the cake itself. I stamped Celebrate in Rococo Rose and Rich Razzleberry, 1st, 2nd & 3rd generation colors, randomly on the background before adhering the cake piece.

Thanks so much for taking the time to hop with us!  Click on the pumpkin below and hop on over to Deb's blog to see what fun alternate project she has to share with you!

It would be awesome if you leave a comment on our projects along the way!!

IDEAS Blog Hop: Power of Hope

Thank you for joining us on the monthly IDEAS Blog Hop. We are a group of international demonstrators who create a monthly bundle of tutorials for our customers and team members. The February bundle theme is our favorite Sale A Bration item or bundle.

Sale A Bration, for those of you who may not be familiar with it, is the best time of the year!! Well...for stampers anyway! It is when Stampin' Up! offers freebies for different levels of sales, additional freebies for hosting parties and even more freebies for signing up with Stampin' Up! Ask me if you want more information!

Anyway, let's get back to the blog hop. I have chosen the Power of Hope bundle to make my projects. It is a beautiful Asian set with a stone looking 3D embossing folder. I won't show you my projects, you have to get the bundle to see those, but here is an  alternate card using the Power of Hope Stamp Set, and the My Meadow Stamp Set. Don't they pair together nicely?

The tutorials include current Stampin' Up! products, have color photos, supply lists, step by step instructions, and feature both imperial and metric measurements! There are over 20 projects included, both cards and 3D items included. Would you like a copy of the instructions of all the projects to use for your personal use, or even to use in your classes? Contact me, or your participating demonstrator, to find out how to get your tutorial bundle! They are available for a very low cost or even better, for FREE!

Once you have received the tutorials, please remember not to share or distribute the printed or electronic copies of these bundles. PPP Blog Hop: I'll Bee Yours

Glad you could join us on our monthly Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. We love Paper Pumpkin and love to share our enthusiasm for this monthly box of fun and creativity with you. The Paper Pumpkin kit is designed so you can follow the instructions provided in the kit to make the projects, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild (as we have!) Hop along with us, as we will share alternate ideas on how we used the January Paper Pumpkin Kit: I'll Bee Yours.

Here is the kit as designed, with 3 x 3 cards and little treat bags. I love the non traditional Valentine colors, so this could be used as wedding, or shower favors, instead of Valentine's.

I had a new challenge when designing my alternate project this month, as my kit was missing a couple of things when received. I didn't have the stamps or the ink spot that were supposed to be in the kit. Now, I could do without the spot, as I have the Mint Macaron full size pad, but the stamps, that was a different story. Thanks goodness Stampin' Up! has the best support team in the direct sales industry and they are sending me both items. But, since I just got my kit a few days ago, I didn't get them in time to use them on my alternate project.

I decided to make a small banner. I used the layering square dies to cut the treat bags, and got 2 squares from each bag (front and back.) I backed those with a Mint Macaron cardstock scalloped square to make them sturdier. I used only kit elements to decorate each square, using a repeat pattern. I did add the 1/8" Mint Macaron Ribbon from the January-June Mini Catalog and the Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blend to color in the white stripes on the bumblebees. I, also, used the alphabet from the Make a Difference Stamp Set for my word and letters.

Here is a closer look at a couple of them:

Let it snow!

Hi there! Do you decorate for any season except Christmas? I have an entry table that I try to always have decorated with the current holiday or season. So once Christmas ends, I change to snowmen for winter. I always try to have a sampler up, so when people walk in my door, they will see what I do.

Here is my entry table currently looks like:

And a close up of the sampler. It is several years old, so nothing current on it. But I love it and still use it!

What do your winter decorations look like?

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!

Something for Everything Boxes

I mentioned in my 1/7/2020 blog post, after I had made a box with one of the cardbases from the Something for Everything December Paper Pumpkin kit, that I would probably do so with the other 2, at some point.  Well, here you go, boxes with the other 2 card bases:

I really like when the cardbase back is a solid color and the front is a print, so the box is two-toned.

Hope you like them!

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop: Something for Everyone

Welcome to the monthly Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. We love Paper Pumpkin and love to share our enthusiasm for this monthly box of fun and creativity with you. The Paper Pumpkin kit is designed so you can follow the instructions provided in the kit to make the projects, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild (as we have!) Hop along with us, as we will share alternate ideas on how we used the December Paper Pumpkin Kit: Something for Everyone.

This month's kit has a lot of great sentiments, that can be used over and over! Here are the cards as designed:

I don't know about anyone else, but when I saw the leaves in this kit, I saw cactus. And, anyone who has been following me, knows I love to make boxes from the card bases in the Paper Pumpkin kits. Here are my projects:

Here is my card with my little cactus! Everything, except the Thick Whisper White card base is from the kit:

And here is my box. I used the green striped card at the far right of the picture of the original cards at the top of the blog to make the box. The little flowers were the outlines from the pink flowers with different backings, the gold pieces were leftover pieces from the Gold Swirl, some I had to cut down. All pieces were from the kit.

See how the bottom of the box is solid, but the top and sides are stripes? I love when the card front is different than the back. It definitely makes for a fun box.

And the inside:

Here is the template for making the card base into a box. It is such a simple box. First, do not fold the card on the original score mark. It will be there, but not real visible, as long as you don't fold it. Score on the 8 1/2" side at 1", 3 3/4", 4 3/4" and 7 1/2". Score on the 5 1/2" side at 1" and 4 1/2". Cut the red lines, as shown in the photo below, and fold up and then glue to form the box. I would recommend using Tear & Tape, or Tombow Liquid Glue, affectionately known as Green Glue, due to the green packaging.

I think all the card bases in this kit will make fun, colorful boxes, and will probably give the others a try at a later time.

Will you give it a try? Post your pictures, if you do!!

We are so thankful you take the time to hop with us!  Click on the pumpkin below and hop on over to Tricia's blog to see what fun alternate project she has come up with to share with you!

Leave us comments, along the way, and let us know what you think of our projects.

Happy New Year to you and yours!
Don't miss next month's kit, "I'll Bee Yours". You have until 1/10/2020 to sign up or reactivate your account.

It’s “BEE”-yond question: You can get more from the I’ll Bee Yours kit when you buy the Heart Punch Pack (item 151292) from the 2020 January–June Mini Catalog. Both punches coordinate with the heart stamp in the kit so you can craft for love-filled occasions now . . . and later! Think: weddings, showers, birthdays, and more!

Kit details: Makes 20 treat bags + 10 mini cards and envelopes
Card size: 3" x 3" (7.5 x 7.5 cm)
Envelope size: 3-1/8" x 3-1/8" (7.8 x 7.8 cm)
Bag size: 3-1/4" x 4" (8.2 x 10 cm)
Coordinating Stampin’ Up! colors: Crushed Curry, Highland Heather, Mint Macaron, and Rococo Rose

IDEAS Blog Hop: Stitched Be Mine Dies

Welcome to the monthly IDEAS Blog Hop. We are a group of international demonstrators who create a monthly bundle of tutorials for our customers and team members. The January bundle theme is Sharing Love, which could be Valentine's, wedding, anniversary, or just plain ol' I Love You!!

I went with a Valentine's Day card and a cute treat box. I used the Stitched Be Mine Dies, but I also added a cute little meerkat from "The Gang's All Meer" Sale A Bration Stamp Set. You know I am not going to show you my actual projects, you gotta' buy the tutorial to see them all and how I snuck that little meerkat in on my project.

Here is an alternate card using the gang of meerkats, and they are wishing you a Happy New Year!  Aren't they the cutest!! See the details below on how you can get the entire tutorial!!

We have worked hard to provide these exclusive projects for your use. If you know someone that would like to purchase the bundle, please direct them to me, or their participating demonstrator, to obtain their copy. Thanks for your support.

Tags, Tags, Tags!

Did you know these can be more than tags?! There are 3 tags for each season, and a matching die to cut all 3 out at once.

I wanted to show they could be used for more than just tags. So, here are my results:

See, this bundle is for way more than just tags!! Do you agree? Which is your favorite?

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!
