World Card Making Day

Did you know that October 3rd is World Card Making Day (WCMD)?! Yes, we have our own day! How cool is that?! Tomorrow is the last day to register!

So... let's have an event to celebrate it! Myself and some other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators have gotten together to make some great projects using the Stampin' Up! Press On Stamp Set. Have any coffee lovers in your life?! This set is a good one! It is full of various types of cups; coffee, hot chocolate, tea...and has some great sayings! Join us on WCMD to create with this set! Check it out here or on page 68 of the August-December Mini Catalog.

You can purchase the project kits to stamp along with us for $25. Or an even better deal, you can purchase the stamp set and the project kits for only $35. It's like getting the stamp set for only $10!! These prices are for porch pick up or in person classes. Add $5 to either if you want it mailed to you. 

You will supply your own adhesives and inks. 

We will be doing an online event (Facebook Live) from 900am-12:00pm PT on Saturday, October 3. The event will be recorded, so you can either stamp along, or watch, then go back and stamp at your leisure. 

I will also have a limited # of in-person seats available in the afternoon (2-4pm) and evening (6-8pm). If you and/or your besties want to reserve either of these times, rather than doing the online class, please contact me to let me know. 

We will also be showcasing additional projects using this fun stamp set during the lives, so you can see other uses for this stamp set. A tutorial, to include all the projects, will be available for purchase for $10 after the event. 

You must register and pay the fees by 09/20/2020 to reserve your spot!! You don't want to miss this one!

Holiday Bingo and Stampin' Event

 

I had so much fun with the Bingo & PJ Party, that I want to do it again! This time we are going to do a Holiday Bingo and Stampin' Event!

Details: 

Friday, 9/11 is the day of the event. We will start at 6pm. We will play 6 games of Bingo, do some door prizes, and then move to the stamping. There will be a Facebook page set up for this event, tho' the Bingo & door prize drawings will be done on Zoom. The stamping will be done in Facebook page as Facebook Lives, so you can refer back to them anytime you need to. 

Time frames:

All registrations/fees due by 8/27

I will place the Stampin' Up! order on 8/28

Packets shipped to you no later than 9/8

Supply list will be emailed by 9/10

Live event on 9/11

Bingo Rules:

If you win bingo….WAVE your arms, and type BINGO in the Chat feature,  or turn your sound on and shout it out!! Whatever device you are on, be sure to locate the chat function. If your video/audio is not turned on…I might not see or hear your bingo, so you will have to be able to chat! Then,8 get ready to show us your winning bingo numbers!

*You can win a maximum of 2 times. If you win a 3rd time, you will be sent a small consolation prize.

*But you can trade up, so say you win round 3 and 4, but also win the Black Out! You can forfeit your Round 4 prize to the next winner, and collect the Black Out prize, instead. Must be your highest winning you are trading up.    

*You must call Bingo on the letter/number that gives you bingo before I go on to the next letter/number. On Zoom I will have you raise your hands and wave, AND type in Bingo in the chat function. I will have all the faces up on my devices so I can see everyone.

*If two or more people win Bingo on the same number, I will draw high card for the winner, and the other person/persons will receive a small consolation prize.

*You must be present to win the door prizes.

Event costs: 

The cost of the Holiday Bingo & Stampin' event is $40 ($35, if you are local and picking up your packet)

Your packet will consist of 1 Bingo card, one door prize ticket, Stampin' Up! product (min of $15) for your Stampin' projects, along with the project kits. 

Add on's: 

We will be using the Banner Year Bundle for the Stampin' Projects. 

You can add the Banner Year Bundle (stamp/punch) for $36 to your packet.

Or you can add the Banner Year Stamp Set for $17, or use stamps/punches you have. 

You can purchase 2 additional Bingo cards to use for all 6 games for $10.

ICS Blog Hop: Whale Done

Hello, and welcome to the August Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop! We are so glad you are hopping along with us. 

 

This month, our theme is "Punch It Out". The projects you will see will all include some of the awesome Stampin' Up! punches. Hopefully, we can inspire you to get your punches out and do some creating! 

I used the Whale Builder Punch, the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch, and our 2 1/4" Circle Punch on my card. I also used the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper from the recently released August-December Mini Catalog. I love the sparkle of the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper!! And I used the Fine Tip Glue to cover the whale to give him a glossy wet look.
