Paper Pumpkin Possibilities: Kindred Greetings

 

Hello friends!! Time for another Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop where we show you alternative ways to use your Paper Pumpkin!  Hope to inspire you to make yours up, whether it be the way it was designed, or think outside the box and make it your own!!

I love the surprise element of the box each month, and hardly ever look at sneak peeks. Is this you, or do you like to know what you are getting? 

I normally show you the cards as designed, but have not had time to make the kit, so here is a photo of the instruction sheet:

These cards are so pretty! I love the watercolored images and how soft they are. Perfect for a friend who needs a little paper hug. 

With my alternate project, I try to mostly use the non-consumables, what is left after the kit is made up, like the stamps and ink spots. I want to show what can be done with the leftovers, so they are not just sitting in a box somewhere. 

Here is my card, doing just that: 

It is a locking gatefold card. The edges just slip under the circle cut out to close. It is a fun and easy fun fold I first saw on Simply Simple Stamping's YouTube channel. 

I used the circle die from the 7/26-9/26 add-on dies, Detailed Flora Dies (#168664). I used Gray Granite, Petal Pink and Basic White cardstock and Country Woods Designer Series Paper. I almost cut up one of the envelopes to use but decided against it. I still might go back and make another one doing that.
