I am using the Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set and Lily Pad Dies, and the coordinating Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper. These are all FREE Sale A Bration items!
I found a sketch I liked, and then made my card based on it. Here is my card:
And here is the sketch from Splitcoaststampers:
I tried to use bright colors to add a little cheer to the life of someone who was feeling under the weather. I used the Pigment Sprinkles on the lily and the pad because I wanted some color variation in them. I dampened the watercolor paper with an Aqua Painter, and then sprinkled a little bit of the crystals onto it. I used the brush on the Aqua Painter to move the crystals around. I love how the crystals burst into the colors, almost like magic. Use the crystals sparingly, tho'. On my first attempt, I used too much and the color was so dark!
I really like how it turned out. Hope you do too.
I cannot wait to see what the others have done! Would you join me, and hop along to see what they have created for us? Hop with me over to Audra's blog to start & see what project she has to share with us!
Until next time...Happy Craftin'!
