ICS Blog Hop: Mini Catalog Showcase

Hi friends!!

Join us as we hop a long on another Inspire Create Share Blog Hop! We are showcasing products from the September- December 2023 Mini Catalog. 

I am using the Fragrant Forest background stamp. I think this is an easily overlooked stamp, and am hoping to change that. It can be used as a background or a focal stamp. 

Here is my card:

The sentiment is from the Merriest Trees Stamp Set. I used the Stylish Shapes and the new Deckled Circle Dies, the 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim and the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.

I have a lot more uses for this stamp in mind. Keep a look out for what will come next.

IDEAS Blog Hop: Family Celebrations

Hi friends! I'm so excited to share our September 2023 IDEAS Blog Hop with you today. We are featuring projects that we feel celebrate families. There are birthday, Christmas, and Halloween projects and more. There are fun folds, boxes and scrapbook pages, and so much more! Our tutorial is full of amazing creative ideas!  

 This graphic shows a snippet of some of the projects in our September 2023 IDEAS Tutorial Bundle.

I used the Bright & Beautiful Memories & More Card Pack for all my projects. But, my actual tutorial designs are secret and exclusively shared in the tutorial. I have made an additional fun fold card, also using the M&M cards, to share with you here....consider it a bonus project!

Inspire Create Share Blog Hop: Technique Showcase

 

Hi friends!! Welcome to the Inspire Create Share August Blog Hop. This month we are spotlighting techniques. I have no idea what my team mates selected for their techniques and I cannot wait to hop through and see all the samples. I hope to see some past ones making a come back and some new (to me) ones too! 

 I love the Sea Turtle Stamp Set. I have used so many different background techniques, bubble wrap, water color, etc. and now the Masking Tape technique. It is one I haven't done in years, and thought it would be fun to show it again.

So, without further ado, here are the steps: 

1. Press the masking tape (or painters tape) into the ink pad: 

2. Press the tape onto the card: 

3. and Voila! Then repeat with whatever colors you want, until you have the look you want. 

Here is my completed card using this technique: 

The colors I used are, starting from bottom up: Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, Boho Blue, & Balmy Blue.

I hope you try and enjoy this technique! I would love to see what you do with it!

IDEAS Blog Hop: Fun Fold

 

Hello friends! Time for another IDEAS Blog Hop. This month we are featuring Fun Folds!

I love an easy, but WOW! fun fold! How about you?! I have a few go to's, but for this tutorial bundle, I wanted to find one that I hadn't done before. I featured the Origami Window Fun Fold. It definitely met my criteria. 

We had 15 demonstrators from all over the world participate this month. What does this mean to you? Over 68 color pages of instructions for 15 different fun folds! Some I have seen before and some I haven't! I am excited to try a few of these out! There are some bonus projects included too!!

Camping

 Hi friends!

Sorry, I have been absent. We are camping (in our kids front yard) in Missouri. We cannot go many place due to our pups. We don't know anyone in Tennessee to sit for us like we did in California. So, we take them with us in our camper. We hadn't seen the Missouri kids since last October for Staci's wedding; we  decided to pack up the pups and head to Missouri. 

We had done this from California during 2020, when everything was closed down in CA. We left and drove to Missouri and camped in their yard then. We had a month long trip and had so much fun with the grands and great grand. Now 3 years later, we have another great grand! Having just as much fun just doing everyday things with them; coloring, drawing, sharing a meal, timing them when they are swimming, watching them hula hoop, and more....

The pups have a decent size area to hang out (no fenced yard) and love their pup tent!

I hope to be back to doing Facebook lives later this week, if I can ever get my husband to leave here!!
