IDEAS Blog Hop: Faux Wood Burning

 

Giving Thanks is the November theme! I cannot wait to see everyone's projects. I am trying to be more thankful in my life and for the blessings I have. I am hoping to find some fun projects to use to show those around me how thankful I am for them!  I tried a new (to me) technique called Wood Faux Burning. I cannot wait to share it with you. 

Here is a collage of all the projects in the bundle. It gives you a little sneak peek of what to expect. 

And...since my projects are exclusive to the bundle, here is an alternate card I made using the same technique. Early Espresso ink is a deep brown color, but it is really made up of greens and reds and even a some yellows, all of which can be seen on the card, once you start adding some water and brushing over the design.

It contains more than 25 projects ideas, from simple to complex, and with lots of techniques to get your creative juices flowing! IDEAS Blog Hop: To Every Season

Welcome to the monthly IDEAS Blog Hop. We are a group of international demonstrators who create a monthly bundle of tutorials for our customers and team members. The September bundle theme features "Giving Thanks." 

I chose to use the new To Every Seasons Bundle from the soon to be released Holiday Catalog. This bundle includes a cute seasonal stamp set and 4 mini punches! It is perfect for Halloween, Fall, Christmas and Valentine's Day. My project could be changed to any of them, just by changing the stamp, sentiment and color scheme.
