PPP Blog Hop: Expressions in Color

Welcome to the monthly Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. We love Paper Pumpkin and love to share our enthusiasm for this monthly box of fun and creativity with you. The Paper Pumpkin kit is designed so you can follow the instructions provided in the kit to make the projects, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild (as we have!) Hop along with us, as we will share alternate ideas on how we used the June Paper Pumpkin Kit: Expressions in Color.

This month's kit coordinates with the Expressions in Ink Suite, found on pages 96-97 in the 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. It was designed to make 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs. Here are the cards as designed:

If you have followed my blog, you will know that I love making little boxes from the Paper Pumpkin card fronts. So, true to form, I had to use this beautiful card front for my alternate project.

I cut apart the vellum flowers, and using the Blending Brushes, colored the backside of them. I used Wink of Stella on the front of the flower. It did take awhile for it to dry, and the picture doesn't really show it.

Here is the box inside:

Everything came from the kit, except some ink colors and the Blending Brushes. I had to improvise on a punch for the finger hole on the front of the box, since we no longer carry circle punches. I used the hump in the heart punch, and it worked beautifully! Where there is a will, there is a way!!

Since I had some pieces left over of the flowers, and the other vellum piece, I used the remnants to make a card. It also uses everything from the kit.

I am glad you could join us, and hope you have been inspired to get your kit out and create. Click on the pumpkin below and hop on over to Cheryl's blog to see how she has used this kit to express herself!

It would be awesome if you leave a comment on our projects along the way!!

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!

    1. Yes, Do NOT fold on the score line. Score at 1" on sides, then score at 3 3/4" and 4 3/4" (1/2" on either side of the middle score line, that you do not fold).
