ICS Blog Hop: Freezin' Fun

I am so glad you could join is on the November Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop! We are happy to be sharing some fun projects with you. Hopefully, we can inspire you and get you in your craft rooms to stamp something new!

November's theme is Christmas is Coming! I chose to use Freezin' Fun for an exciting technique we learned this past weekend at OnStage@Home! OnStage@Home is the format Stampin' Up! used to bring us together for what we normally did in person each November. It was an exciting time, we saw new product and even had a chance to order some of it! They had $1,000,000 demonstrators presentations creating with the new stamp sets they each helped create! We also got some training in and got to hear from the company leadership on various topics, as well as, a Stamp Along time! It was a fun event and I am so thankful Stampin' Up! chose to use this platform, rather than cancel the event all together!

Anyway, back to the technique, and my card. I had not really used this set yet, and this forced me to start working with it. I will be using it some more for sure! It has so many cute little guys in it! Just look at them, and they have matching dies!!

Here is my creation using a new (to me) shaker card technique. Can you see that the entire card front is the shaker?!

Here is a closer look:

I used a paper from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP). The DSP is supposed to represent stucco, or wall texture, or something. But, I thought it made a perfect snow scene background with all the swirls in the white paste! I stamped trees directly onto the DSP. Once colored, I placed the background piece into a clear envelope, added some snowflake sequins and tiny blue dots, and sealed it. I used Tear & Tape to secure it, before adding it to my card front. To finish it off, I added my cute little snow creatures!

Don't forget the inside, and your envelope!

I hope you love this card and technique as much as I do! I will be using both again!

The very talented Terri is up next, leave me a comment, and then join me as I check out what masterpiece she has for us!! Don't forget to keep hopping to see all the fabulous projects!

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!
