PPP Blog Hop: My Wonderful Family

Welcome to the monthly Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. We love Paper Pumpkin and love to share our enthusiasm for this monthly box of fun and creativity with you. The Paper Pumpkin kit is designed so you can follow the instructions provided in the kit to make the projects, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild (as we have!) Hop along with us, as we will share alternate ideas on how we used the February Paper Pumpkin Kit: My Wonderful Family.

This month's kit made 8 cards, 4 each of 2 designs. Here are the cards as designed

I chose to take elements from the kit and rearrange them to make a different card. The only think I added was a thick white card base, and sponged some So Saffron ink on my sentiment. Everything else came from the kit. Here is my card:

We got a leaf going in only one direction in the stamps. I wanted one on either side of the sentiment, so I stamped one on the corner of my silicon mat and then used the mat to stamp on the other side of the banner. I did have to go back with my Stampin' Write Marker and fill in a little, as it was originally lighter than the other leaf. Cannot really tell it wasn't just a regular stamp, can you?

And I think my most favorite element of this kit, are the sweet little butterfly chain. I had to stamp them on my envelope too, but I forgot to take picture. The sentiments are really lovely too!

Glad you could join us, and hope you have been inspired to get your kit out and create. Unfortunately, if you don't have a kit, you will have to wait for June, as May's kit has sold out already! Click on the pumpkin below and hop on over to Darla's blog to see what fun she has created to share with you!

It would be awesome if you leave a comment on our projects along the way!!

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!
If you have an active subscription, you will get to see and play with some of the new 2020-2022 In Colors in the May kit! Unfortunately, for those of you who don't, this kit has sold out...
