IDEAS Blog Hop: Holidays

 

Hi friends!! Our July theme is Holidays. This is a broad theme, and encompasses many different holidays; birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc., or even a vacation/holiday!! I chose to go with Christmas in July and made a fun card and cute little treat holder! 

Here are some snippets from some of the projects included in this month's bundle: 

Our designers are from all over the world, making this a pretty special tutorial bundle. It contains almost 60 pages of instruction featuring over 30 projects from 13 Global Designers. There are cards, treat holders, an ornament, a journal and a scrapbook page. 

My projects are exclusive to the bundle, so I won't show them here. But I did make a card with the new set Jar of Joy, that coordinates with the Jar Builder Punch, which is the same set I used in my bundle projects. Consider this one a bonus project. 

I love this little jar, and especially the snowman to go inside of it! Just so cute!

This or That Stampin' - Color Challenge

 Hi crafty friends!

Today's This or That Stampin' was a color challenge, Strawberry Slush vs Petunia Pop. Strawberry Slush won. I used the Stampin' Up! Color Coach cards and picked Strawberry Slush, Lost Lagoon and Lemon Lolly as my color combo. 

I also did the Faux Twisted Ribbon technique to show off some of the beautiful Designer Series Paper in the Floral in Blooms Suite. Don't miss out on the Suite BOGO!

Inspire Create Share Blog Hop: It's a Guy Thing

 

Welcome to the ICS Blog Hop! Tonight, we are celebrating the guys in our lives! I think the Sunrise Sailing is the perfect stamp set to make guy cards for birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, or just a thinking of you theme. What is your go to stamp set for masculine cards?

Here is a fun, but easy card using the stamp set and coordinating dies. I love that the dies cut out the stamped sailboat, but there are also smaller sail boats that can be cut out. There is a seagull stamp, but also seagull dies. So fun!

I used a blending brush to add some ink on the background, with a spritz of water. A strip of Real Read cardstock run through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss using the Mini–Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder, a couple of clouds and a boat and who wouldn't love to get this on their birthday?

IDEAS Blog Hop: Color Me Happy!

 

Hi friends! It is color time again!! Every year when we get new In Colors we have a hop with colors. It may be the new In Colors, or just a color combination that we love, but it is all about colors!!! 

Here is collage with some snippets of some of our projects:

This or That Stampin' - Color Challenge

 Hi crafty friends!! This week's This or That Stampin' was a color challenge between 2 new In- Colors, Timid Tiger and Cloud Cover. 

Timid Tiger was the winner and here is the Color Combo's I had to choose from: 

Stampin' Up! provides these for us with each color change. It is one of the many ways I get my color inspiration. 

I used the bottom one, Timid Tiger, Misty Moonlight and Lost Lagoon. I used a couple of different stamp sets from our Online Exclusives, Textured Notes and Elements of Text.

Inspire Create Share Blog Hop: 2025-2027 In Colors

 

Hi friends!! Welcome to the ICS Blog! We are showcasing the 2025-2027 In Colors. I love that Stampin' Up! comes out with 5 new trendy colors each year, so we always have fresh colors to use in with our core colors. This year our colors are Cloud Cover, Darling Duckling, Secret Sea, Strawberry Slush (a returning past In Color) & Timid Tiger. 

So long story long....I am not sure if you have heard but there are issues with Cloud Cover, and its reaction with our foam pads. So, the full-size ink pads will not be sold to the customers. But you can get cardstock, Stampin' Write marker, Stampin' Blend & even the reinker. I plan on using the reinker on an ink spot to get a Cloud Cover stamp pad. Anyway, you will not see Cloud Cover in my samples, because I don't have the reinker yet to make my Stampin' spot.
