Paper Pumpkin Possibilities: Celebrate Spring

 

Hello friends!! This month's kit, Celebrate Spring, is so much fun!! It has pretty flowers, cute bunnies and Easter eggs. The pastel colors scream spring!!

As always, I like to use the stamps on my alternate projects to show what can be done with the stamps once the kit consumables have all been used up. My card showcases the Easter eggs, using the stamps and some of the negative images to color the eggs. I used a couple of blending brushes and some ink to shade the background of the eggs on a circle, after punching the eggs out of the die cut sheets. 

Once I had the backgrounds shaded, I used the stamps to stamp over the shaded ovals with the same color inks. I added some of the February Product of the Month, Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper, and here are the results:

Inspire Create Share Blog Hop: It's a Love Thing

 

Hello friends! Here we are in the month of February, with Valentine's Day just around the corner, so our theme is all about Love. So appropriate, right? There are so many ways to we can express love, and so many kinds of love to express; this should be a fun time. 

My card is a Fold Out Fun Fold. It is Designer Series Paper heavy, so you can show off all the patterns! 

It is monochromatic, using Strawberry Slush on everything. The Mixed-Up Patterns DSP has several patterns with each color, so it was easy to find some to make up this card. Here it is with the belly band removed and the first unfold. 

And the final fold out with big bold Love You's. The recipient will not be able to doubt that they are loved!
